Bangladesh, drone development is advancing in both the military and agriculture sectors.

Agriculture: Drones are being used for crop monitoring, damage assessment, and precision farming. Initiatives by the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) and companies like DhumketuX aim to improve farming efficiency and sustainability.

Military: The Bangladesh Armed Forces are integrating drones into their operations under the “Forces Goal 2030” plan. The Bangladesh Air Force is procuring unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs), while the Bangladesh Aeronautical Centre (BAC) develops and maintains UAV systems for defense purposes.

These efforts highlight Bangladesh’s focus on utilizing drone technology for enhancing agriculture and military capabilities.
